On January 18, 2014, the Project Management Institute (Singapore Chapter) visited the Red Cross Home For The Disabled to celebrate the Chinese New Year with them. This is an annual event that the PMI Singapore has been doing for 9 years now. PMI members came to spend time with the residents as they watched the entertainers sing and dance for them. Afterwards, the members assisted the residents in eating and gave them gifts of red packets and oranges. PMI President Umesh Ursekar also gave red packets to the Red Cross staff in appreciation for the good work that they have been doing for the past years in taking care of the disabled. It was truly a touching and memorable occasion for everyone who joined the event.

NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

The members of PMI Singapore Chapter (SPMI) are hereby invited to the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Wednesday, 11 December 2013at 7.00pm at Singapore Post Centre, 10 Eunos Road 8, Theatrette Level 5.

Proposed Resolution

The proposed resolution concerns amendments to SPMI's Constitution to ensure the SPMI Constitution aligns with PMI bylaws model. In accordance with the Annual General Meeting on 25-April-2013:

“Mr. Senaka Tiranagama proposed appointing a Constitution Changes Committee from the floor, and the Committee to review and propose the changes to the Board, and members’ approval at an EOGM. No objections were raised from the floor.”

Notice is hereby given that the 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Project Management Institute Singapore Chapter (SPMI) will be held at Theatrette (The Pavillion) Level 5, Singapore Post Centre on 25th April 2013 @ 7pm.

As per the constitution of the chapter, the positions of President, two Vice Presidents, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, Honorary Assistant Secretary, Honorary Assistant Treasurer, 9 Board Members positions and 3 to 5 Trustee positions are open for election at the AGM.

Dear PMI Singapore Chapter Members,

Volunteers have led the PMI Singapore Chapter, a non-profit organization, since its conception a decade ago in 2000. We have cherished the contribution and support provided by Chapter members, eminent speakers as well as students who have volunteered their time and efforts in betterment of the Singapore Chapter. The numerous queries by perspective volunteers have geared the Volunteer Information Session, which is to be held on 21st February 2013 at SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business,Seminar Room 1.2.
