Dear PMI Singapore Chapter Members,
Volunteers have led the PMI Singapore Chapter, a non-profit organization, since its conception a decade ago in 2000. We have cherished the contribution and support provided by Chapter members, eminent speakers as well as students who have volunteered their time and efforts in betterment of the Singapore Chapter. The numerous queries by perspective volunteers have geared the Volunteer Information Session, which is to be held on 21st February 2013 at SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business,Seminar Room 1.2.

The Volunteer Information Session is aimed to provide you a platform where we shall assist you with the Volunteer Opportunities in the Singapore Chapter and how to enroll yourself more actively in the Chapter activities. The session is two-way communication session – 1. Talk by PMI Singapore Chapter Board representatives on various volunteer opportunities, and 2. A comprehensive Volunteer Expectation Session to know your expectations from the Singapore Chapter as Volunteer. PMI Singapore Chapter immediate past President Mr. Alex Siow, PMP, who won the PMI Chapter Award for Leadership Recognition of Excellence on PMI Singapore Chapter President for 2012, shall share his experience as volunteer with Singapore Chapter in the session. The volunteer information session is also enriched with speeches from current PMI Singapore Chapter President and Executive Committee Members.

About the Speaker
Mr. Alex Siow is currently a director of e-Cop Pte Ltd, board member of the Singapore Science Centre and member of board of governors of Temasek Polytechnic. He was Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Business Excellence at StarHub Ltd and is the Past President of the PMI Singapore Chapter. Currently he is also an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore. He sits on the Edusave Advisory Committee and the Advisory Committee of the ECE department of NUS.
