Welcome to the PMI SG Chapter Student Project Management Competition 2024!

We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual PMI SG Chapter Student Project Management Competition. After looking into AI last year, this year we will leave planet earth and venture where no project manager has gone before!

"Terraforming Mars: Our Next Great Challenge"

This year we are launching the Mars Initiative, a groundbreaking project with two primary objectives:

1. The Mars Mission: Sending the first crewed spacecraft to Mars.

2. The Habitat Project: Establishing the planet's first small-scale human habitat.

With a [imaginary] budget of $50 billion, The Mars Initiative seeks to push the boundaries of human exploration and pave the way for future interstellar travel. This calls for the best project managers on earth – YOU and your TEAM!

Competition Structure & Mission Brief

The competition will feature two rounds:

1. Selection Round

2. Final Poster Round

During the Selection Round, all participants will submit a project charter for judging.

The top 8 teams will then proceed to the Final Poster Round, where they will develop a project management poster following the given theme (details to be share with finalists).
