On January 18, 2014, the Project Management Institute (Singapore Chapter) visited the Red Cross Home For The Disabled to celebrate the Chinese New Year with them. This is an annual event that the PMI Singapore has been doing for 9 years now. PMI members came to spend time with the residents as they watched the entertainers sing and dance for them.  Afterwards, the members assisted the residents in eating and gave them gifts of red packets and oranges.  PMI President Umesh Ursekar also gave red packets to the Red Cross staff in appreciation for the good work that they have been doing for the past years in taking care of the disabled.  It was truly a touching and memorable occasion for everyone who joined the event.

Vehicle access to the building is restricted as the Home is sharing the building with the Syariah Court and Tribunal for Maintenance for Parents (TMP). Hence, they may only allow for the loading and unloading of donations, but you would have to prompt the Home in advance by providing them with the vehicle license plate number(s) so that they can get clearance from their security counter. All vehicles must then be parked at the nearest HDB parking lots.
