SPMI is so glad to inform results for the prestigious 3^rd Project of the Year award, which has strongly attracted Corporates and Government agencies to obtain a record number of total 27 nominations for the POY 2016-17 Awards. The POY 2016-17 Award Ceremony-Gala Dinner together with Member’s Nite was conducted at Carlton Hotel on 24^th Feb 2017. POY Award Ceremony had attracted nearly 300 registrants participants from about 200 companies. 

This year POY awards attracted Nominations from various industrial segments viz Information Technology, Banking,

Healthcare, Stock-Exchange, Logistics, Airport, EPC companies, Government owned consultancy, International consultancies, Energy & Chemicals, Rail Transportation infrastructure, Marine and offshore engineering firms.

SPMI was honoured to have Mr. Heng Chee How, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s office as Guest of Honour who graced this Award event. On behalf of SPMI, Sr. Minister Mr. Heng Chee How presented a ‘Leadership Impact’ Award, to Mr. Vivek Kumar, Assistant Director-General, NTUC as recognition for his leadership role in building partnership between NTUC-SPMI over the years.

SPMI-POY-2016-17 award program was backed-up with a strong line-up of 19 Expert Panel members which includes CIOs, Professors, Senior Vice Presidents, Corporate Directors, EDB director, and other senior executives from the corporate world and NTU & NUS institutions. The 3rd year SPMI POY awards honoured outstanding and successful projects under two categories:

• The launch date for SPMI PoY 2017-18 Awards shall be announced by the SPMI POY Organizing committee in the month of May-Jun 2017. SPMI expects more Corporate & Government agencies Nominations, Sponsorships for the next year POY 2017-18 Award program following a very successful Project of the Year 2016-17 Awards.

The 3rd year SPMI POY awards honors outstanding and successful projects under two categories:
1) Business & Information System (B&IS)

2) Engineering and Construction (E&C)

Currently panelists are reviewing all POY nominations and Winners will be announced during the POY 2016-17 Awards ceremony on 24^th Feb 2017.

Key updates on POY Awards program:

q  The 3^rd Project of the Year (PoY) Awards ceremony along with Members Nite will be celebrated with the fabulously gala dinner on Fri, 24^th Feb 2017, from 6.15 pm onwards. Venue: Carlton Hotel Singapore | Level 2 | Empress 4 & 5, 76 Bras Basah Road Singapore 189558. Registration starts from 6:15 pm onwards.

q  Guest of Honour for POY2016-17 awards will be Mr. Heng Chee How, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s office who will grace this award event.

q  All nominated projects will receive 1 entry-pass for the POY awards ceremony and for any additional guest pass if interested shall be purchased at SG$275. Companies interested to book round table (10 nos. seating / table) are currently available (Limited) at the price of S$2750.
