Project Management Institute Honors Alex Siow, PMP
with a 2012 PMI Chapter Award for Leadership Recognition of Excellence
Singapore, 25 October 2012 — The Project Management Institute, the world's leading project management member association, announces that it has honored Alex Siow, Singapore Chapter President, with a 2012 PMI Chapter Award for Leadership Recognition of Excellence. The award was presented during PMI’s annual Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 20 October 2012 at the Vancouver Convention Center.
The PMI Chapter Award for Leadership Recognition of Excellence pays tribute to the vision and dedication a community leader must have to effectively guide and advance their community and to further PMI’s envisioned goal to help organizations, worldwide, embrace project management and attribute their success to it. Mr. Siow was specifically recognized for the 900% membership growth PMI Singapore Chapter saw under his leadership, as well as his advocacy in activities such as professional and social events for the members.
