The annual PMI Singapore Regional Symposium 2012, organized by PMI and the PMI Singapore Chapter, will be held at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on October 4th and 5th, 2012. Do you believe your project is the best learning platform to hone your project management skills? Are you always keen to share your experience so that others can benefit from you? If yes and you are looking for a wider platform to share your expertise in project management, this contest is the right place to start with.

Yes!! For the first time in the history of PMI Singapore Chapter, we are proudly inviting participants to share their experience through the ‘Case Study Contest 2012’. The competition has adopted the case study method in order to promote its use as a modern, practice-oriented method of learning and sharing.

The contest is organized by Focus Group, PMI, Singapore Chapter. The winner of the contest will not only get the cash prizes but also recognition through various platform of communication. Winner will also get a chance to present winning case study in one of the SPMI event.

The Social & Networking committee wants to launch you into a healthy new year with SPMI.  We are starting this off with a young lady coming all the way from Canada to help SPMI out!

Few of us can have a productive day without reaching for our daily cup of coffee or that “pick-me-up” bar of chocolate in the mid-afternoon. Caffeinated and sugar-laden foods and drinks are well-known for their almost instant positive effect on our energy levels, which easily explains their popularity. When we feel tired, we are quick to reach for those energy-boosting foods – but we rarely think of food as a potential cause for our fatigue. And yet, who has not felt that overpowering desire to nap around 2pm, incidentally right after the lunch break?
