PMI Singapore Chapter 2nd Extraordinary General Meeting 2026 | Online Event | Election for Executive Committee 2026-2028

Notice was given on 16 Jun 2026 via our official Chapter website that the 2026 2^nd online Extraordinary General Meeting (EoGM) after previous EoGM on 30 May 2026 of Project Management Institute Singapore Chapter called at 08:00pm SGT of 30 Jun 2026 (Tuesday).

On behalf of the outgoing 2025–2026 Executive Committee (ExCo), we sincerely apologize for the issues identified in the previous election results, which were announced during EoGM held on 30 May 2026. It was identified that the election process did not comply with Clause 4.1.1 of the Chapter Constitution 2026 and was not fully aligned with the earlier constitution amendment approval granted by the Registry of Societies (ROS). Specifically, Chapter Student Members, who are not eligible to vote under the Constitution, were inadvertently included in the PMI electronic voting process due to an administrative setup error. This oversight was regrettably not detected during the Election Committee's review of the election process.

To address this constitutional breach, rectify the misalignment with ROS requirements, and strengthen election governance, the Chapter has taken the following corrective actions:

• The previous election results will not be adopted.
• A new Election Committee (EC) has been established to oversee a clean, transparent, fair, and constitutionally compliant election process.
• A fresh election will be conducted for the successful candidates as determined by the new Election Committee.
• Details of the new e-voting instructions will be communicated by PMI separately in due course.

As part of remediation of such constitution breach, misalignment with ROS approval & election governance gap, a fresh new ExCo E-Voting has been planned (details to be shared in due course) and new Election Committee (EC) has been set up for conducting a clean, transparent and compliant election.

As part of this round EoGM, we will be conducting Election for Executive Committee (2026-2028). In line with the 2026 constitution, this will be a two (2) year term of office.
