Regional Symposium on "PM @ the Core" attracted record participation in Singapore
This year Singapore Chapter had two new initiatives on its symposium; first, the symposium went to the regional level, which saw participation from the region; and second, it was organized for two days with the second day being the International PM day on 6th November.
The theme of the regional symposium was "PM @ the Core" to highlight the importance of project management thinking in most of the activities that we project managers do. The symposium was held at the Singapore International Convention Center in Singapore, on 5-6 November, 2008. The Chapter invited many prominent speakers from the Asia Pacific Region to speak on emerging concepts in project management.
