PMI Singapore Chapter’s Outreach Programme goes to Citibank Singapore

Our Chapter was cordially invited by Citibank to contribute and actively participate at Citi’s Project Management Awareness Week 2015 annual event, which was held from 11-15 May 2015 at Citi's Changi Business Park office.

At Citi, PM Awareness Week is a best practices sharing and training forum designed to increase awareness of the Program and Project Management core competency at Citi. It enables PMs and other interested colleagues to participate in an assortment of virtual and in-person seminars on the discipline of project management.

For this important event, SPMI contributed by sending our Board Member, Rashid Mohiuddin, to present an exciting and mind-provoking presentation which was titled “Join the Dance – Key Trends for Project Managers”.

In line with Citi’s innovative and foresight view in adopting emerging technologies, Rashid’s presentation to Citi’s Project Managers was well received and applauded, as he outlined the importance of acquiring new skills and knowledge in anticipation of such projects, which may be complex and highly challenging to deliver.

In addition, SPMI was also instrumental in organising another well renowned Speaker and a Guinness World Record holder, Nishant Kasibhatla, who demonstrated his extraordinary memory skills and thrilled Citi’s 100 over audience.

For years, Nishant has been thrilling his audience of Executives, Managers and Leaders to attain peak mental performance and boost their productivity. His talks and workshops are always packed with powerful demonstrations, motivational stories.

Nishant is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). He is also an international speaker and trainer with over 18 years’ experience in conducting training in areas such as Peak Mental Performance, Learning to Learn, Information and Memory Management, Speed-reading, Motivation and Success. 

Nishant was able to share his memory expertise, giving valuable tips to Citi’s Project Managers in using such technics in their project delivery, which was well appreciated by Citi’s Project Management community. 

Our Chapter's contributions to Citi's PM Awareness Week were indeed an enriching experience, as we continue to engage Corporations via our Outreach Program.
