 Are you ready for Singapore Project Management Challenge? Call for Nomination POY (2017-18) On-Going
 pic1      SPMI welcomes companies, governmenttake action agencies, Start-up/SMEs to take part in this unique Project of the Year awards challenge. The 4th SPMI POY awards honors outstanding and successful projects from various Industries in Singapore in two categories:
  1. Business & Information Systems
  2. Engineering & Construction

POY award program nominations will be reviewed by a group of Expert Panel which includes CIOs, Professors, Senior Vice- Presidents, Corporate Directors, EDB director, and other senior executives from the corporate world and Institutions. The SPMI POY Award is well recognized and supported by Economic Development Board (EDB) Singapore and National Trade Union Congress (NTUC).

The 3rd POY Awards program was celebrated fabulously on 24th Feb’17 in presence of approx. 300 participants from 200 companies, attracted 27 Nominations from government agencies as well as various industrial segments such as Information Technology, Banking, Healthcare, Stock- Exchange, Logistics, Airport, EPC companies, Government Owned consultancy, International consultancies, Energy & Chemicals, Rail Transportation infrastructure, Marine and offshore engineering firms.

    nominate  Important Nomination Submission tips:
  • Identify & designate an award lead nominator  from your company who gathers all necessary information, completes the Nomination form and submit on or before 04th Dec 2017, and acts as a liaison between SPMI and your project team.
  • Refer closely to the Project Eligibility Criteria per applicable category.
  • Justify in the Nomination form questions including why you think your submission should receive the award.
  • The Project Nomination submission to SPMI is free of charge.

To start with, it will be very beneficial to you to share below details to SPMI:

  • Project name/ Title
  • Nomination leader name, contact email, and phone number 
    table dates

Evaluation Process

 

1.

The evaluation process is governed by the following independent bodies comprising of experienced industry leaders:

Roles & Responsibilities

 

Judges Panel

Senior Executives from the relevant industry

  • Govern the overall program.
  • Provide guidance to the Evaluation Committee and the program team in designing and executing the program.
  • Review the evaluation reports submitted by the Evaluation Committee and select the finalists & winners.
 

Evaluation Committee

Senior Project Managers/Directors from the relevant industry

  • Review and approve the evaluation criteria and process.
  • Obtain necessary guidance from Judges Panel and perform an objective evaluation of the submitted projects.
  • Prepare the evaluation report and submit to the Judges Panel.
 

2.

Evaluation Committee evaluates the project nominations according to the eligibility criteria and provide the evaluation report to the Judges Panel.

 

3.

Judges Panel selects the finalists for each category; if needed the finalists may be required to provide more details and conduct presentations in front of the Judges Panel.

 

4.

Judges Panel selects the winner of each category.
