Announcement for 4^thProject of the Year (PoY 2017-18) Awards Ceremony Day / Updates

SPMI is glad to inform that the 4^thPOY Awards program has attracted many nominations from both Singapore based companies as well Government agencies. SPMI takes this opportunity to express gratitude to all Government agencies, as well as company management/leadership/project team for their strong desire & courage to showcase their outstanding completed projects. SPMI urge more corporate / Government leadership team to come forward to support POY awards program with their nomination in future. Special thanks to Economic Development Board (EDB) Singapore and NTUC for their great support to this program. 

SPMI had a great time with PMI global leadership/Board of Directors in Singapore along with presence of PMI president & CEO Mr. Mark Langley in Dec 2017, where PMI Global team has expressed their appreciation for SPMI’s POY Awards initiative in Singapore.

The 4^th SPMI POY awards honors project teams for their successful completion of outstanding project in Singapore under two categories:

1) Business & Information System (B&IS)

2) Engineering and Construction (E&C)

POY 2017-18 Nominations were obtained from various industrial segments such as large infrastructure from government agencies such as Land Transport Authority (LTA), Intellectual Property office of Singapore (IPOS), and companies from International integrated project and programme management consultancies, EPC business, Information Technology, Banking, Healthcare, Energy & Chemicals, Rail Transportation infrastructure. In past nominations were also attracted from large infrastructure/ multi-discipline consultancies, logistic, airport, stock-exchange, marine & offshore engineering firms.

POY SPMI 2017-18 awards Panel comprises of 21 senior executives from various industries & reputed institutions (NUS & NTU). Refer to below image for the POY 2017-18 panel members. SPMI recognize and appreciates each of the panel members for their dedication, volunteerism for supporting POY awards consistently along with their regular official duties.

Key updates on POY Awards

 Currently, all POY nominations are being carefully reviewed by the panel team and merit based project awards winners will be announced during the POY 2017-18 Gala Awards ceremony on 3^rd Apr 2018. Please note only shortlisted nominees will be notified for further evaluation.

 The 4^th POY 2017-18 Award-Gala dinner ceremony will be celebrated clubbing with SPMI members Nite on Tuesday, 3^rd Apr 2018. Venue: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore | Ball Room Lower Lobby, 1 Fullerton Square Singapore 049178. On-site Registration starts from 6:15 pm onwards. Event starts at 7pm to 10.30 pm.

 Guest of Honour: Ms. Indranee Rajah, Senior Minister of State for Law and Finance, Republic of Singapore

 In appreciation to each of Nomination Companies, SPMI is providing 1 complimentary entry-pass for the POY 2017-18 awards ceremony and for any additional guest pass shall be priced at SG$300 per seat. Interested companies shall contact SPMI for booking of round table (10 nos. seating / table) at the price of S$3000 (Limited Tables)

 Entry-pass for POY Awards & member’s Nite for SPMI members is free of charge (but, Limited seats), please lookout regularly at SPMI webpage (www.pmi.org.sg) for online registration for this event which will be commencing very soon.
