WEBINAR: The RFP Duel - When Buyers play Poker and Vendors play Chess
As project managers, we are often at the heart of the procurement process – sourcing for vendors, reviewing proposals, shortlisting candidates, and managing contracts. Yet, this process is not one-sided. Vendors are not passive participants; they actively engage in strategic positioning to secure wins on their preferred terms.
So, in this one-hour webinar, we’ll look at procurement from both perspectives: what project sponsors (buyers) should do to ensure they select the right partners and avoid hidden risks, and what vendors can do to influence decisions in their favor.
We’ll uncover real-world strategies used in sales and negotiation, revealing some of the secrets that sales professionals use, and actions that project managers can take to make informed, confident decisions, protect their projects, and foster stronger, more transparent partnerships. This is not about playing games but about understanding the dynamics of play so you can lead with confidence, integrity, and insight.
